Six steps
Wall preparationNew: install the hanger brackets and drain connection per the urinal maker’s instructions. Replacement: clean all wax and old sealing material off the wall adapter.
Prepare the urinalThe urinal must be clean, dry and free from wax or old sealing material.
Install the sealPush the seal into the wall adapter far enough that it won’t fall out, then peel off the white release paper.
Hang the urinalHang the top on the brackets and pivot the urinal down onto the seal. Reach behind and press the adhesive firmly onto the urinal.
Secure the urinalTighten the bolts so the urinal won’t move. Don’t over-tighten, or the urinal may break.
Check for leaksConnect the water supply and make sure the drain connection is leak free.

Common questions
Will it fit my urinal?
The FUS-2 fits wall-hung urinals that connect to 2″ drain pipe through a urinal flange or wall adapter. Not sure? Reach out with the urinal make and model.
Is there a 1½″ version?
No. The FUS-2 is made for 2″ drain pipe.
Can I reuse it?
Yes, on the same urinal. Pull the urinal for a service call and reinstall it with the same seal still attached.
Do I have to remove all the old wax?
Yes. The wall adapter and the back of the urinal must be clean, dry and free from wax or old sealing material. A clean adapter lets the seal sit right, and a clean urinal lets the adhesive stick.
How tight should the bolts be?
Tight enough that the urinal won’t move. Don’t over-tighten, or the urinal may break.
Skip the wax.
Fernco Wax-Free Toilet Seals stick to the toilet and seal inside the drain pipe. Reset the same toilet with the same seal, and floors up to ¾″ above the flange are covered.
